Week 17 Stone buildings. Greve in Chianti, where my son and his Jeanette were married. In the middle of summer with bright blue skies and shimmering landscape the thick stone walls provided shelter and cooler afternoon temperatures. This is an out building, our rooms were in the oldest part of the castle, with quirky winding staircases, very high ceilings, deep shuttered windows and large worn smooth floor tiles.
