Week 26 colours - orange and green - this was growing on the beach at Mokau, where you can buy really good white bait fritters. The river estuary enters the North Taranaki bight and at the right time there is a good surf break here. There are interesting rock formations along the southern edge and a huge tidal area that empties out, the high tide line is piled with trees stumps and driftwood.
