Week 26 colours - orange and green. Roses in the Stone Ridge Estate, a small winery near Queenstown. A modern stone building beautifully sited on a slope facing north, hills behind shelter it from the prevailing weather. Furnished in a quirky manner, from memory it had sheep skins like carpet over the floor, very people sized rooms, pleasant surprises with nooks and crannies and well tended gardens with geese asleep. I would live there in the original building like a shot, (it has been extended) just have different accessories and furniture, simplify with less ticky tacky stuff. Over looking the vineyards and Lake Hayes, ah yes memorable.
