Week 31 Flying. On the way back from Pouto we stopped at Kelly's bay where these birds were happily resting and waiting for the tide to go out before feeding on the flats, when a three year old decided to go in for a closer look, hundreds of birds took to the air. The sound was astounding and the sky just filled up.
