Week 38 Colour brown. Going through my box of stamps I collected a few brown ones, I noticed one of the post cancellation dates was 1938. In the old days all stamps were cut off and put in this box, it didn't matter that they were damaged. The envelopes were saved for reuse too, lists, notes etc. Rubber bands were saved and put around door handles, bits of string were twisted number eight style and in a drawer. Paper bags were flattened and tea coupons, lottery tickets, sale offers and special deals were all in there too. This was in 'the good old days'.
